HW type energy-saving mixed flow pump
Application HW type mixed flow pump is a horizontal, single-stage, single-suction, suspended impeller mixed flow pump, suitable for agricultural irrigation, industrial, urban water supply and drainage, as well as water intake in docks and wharfs.

Model Explanation Taking 250HW-8 as an example: 250 - Pump inlet (outlet) diameter is 250 millimeters. 8 - Total head of the pump is 8 meters.
Pump Drive Modes Our factory produces HW series mixed flow pumps with both motor and engine options. The driving mode of the pump depends on the power situation in various regions. When ordering, the driving mode of the pump is determined based on the model (power, speed) of the prime mover, and the size of the pulley or the specifications of the coupling are determined accordingly.
Pump Rotation Direction The impeller rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the inlet of the pump (the direction indicated by the arrow).
Structure and Function Explanation
HW type mixed flow pump consists of pump body, pump cover, impeller, pump shaft, and bearing housing.
The pump cover is the part that connects the pump with the inlet pipe. There is a specified axial end clearance between the end face of the pump cover and the impeller (after eliminating the axial clearance of the bearing, maintain the specified axial clearance). If the clearance is too small, friction occurs; if it is too large, water reflux in the pump reduces efficiency. Adjust the thickness of the gasket to meet the specified clearance requirements.
The sealing device consists of packing box, water seal box, packing gland, and lead (or oil-immersed) asbestos disk root. Its functions include:
Preventing air from entering the pump during idle operation to achieve sealing.
Preventing excessive water flow from the pump during pumping.
The shaft sleeve protects the shaft from direct friction with the packing. If excessive wear is found during long-term use, the shaft sleeve can be replaced.
The two bearings on the shaft are bearings in the bearing housing, and a suitable amount of grease is stored in the bearing housing to lubricate the bearings.
The water-blocking ring on the shaft prevents water from entering the bearing housing, thus protecting the bearings and extending their service life.
